A fruit is a fleshy part of a plant that encloses one seed or pit. Examples of fleshy fruits include apples, pears and oranges.

Vegetables

Vegetables are a broad class of foods that include leaves, stems, roots, flowers, fruits and seeds from herbaceous plants. They are eaten raw or cooked and are rich in vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre.

Some plants are both vegetables and fruit at different times. For example, papayas and mangoes are vegetables when they’re at the immature stage, but fruits when they’re grown.

Dairy

There’s no denying that milk and other dairy products offer many benefits, including calcium, protein, vitamins and minerals for strong bones and muscles. A grain is a seed from a plant in the family of cereal grains (Poaceae). The kernel has a hard outer shell, called bran, that supplies fiber, antioxidants, B vitamins and trace minerals.
