If you’ve been struggling to get enough iron in your diet, then you are not alone. One of the first things I do when I have a question about my diet is to look for ways to add more iron to my daily routine. There are so many different sources of iron that I never know what to expect when I start looking for it. So what I like to do is just start off with a couple of different sources of iron in the body, and see how they react in the body. Once I know what to expect, I will be able to tell if there are any side effects or anything I should avoid at all costs. Here are some of my top tips to get more iron in your diet.
– Supplements – A great supplement to use is iron-fortified food. You can buy this in different forms, such as tablets, chewable bars, or liquid. This kind of food is good because it contains lots of iron that can be easily absorbed into the body. If you don’t like the taste, then you can also try eating the iron-fortified foods raw. Raw foods are also good because they have much less harmful chemicals in them, which are usually added in tablet form.
– Healthy Diet – Eating a healthy diet can help to get rid of toxins, and to build up your immune system. However, many people fail to include some of the most important nutrients in their diets. For example, getting enough iron is very important, but if you aren’t getting enough vitamin C in your diet, then you can end up having a lot of trouble with chronic illnesses. So by including these two basic nutrients in your diet, you can ensure that your body has the right amount of iron in it.
